RAGS Report - Oct 2, 2009

Well, another Monday, and another RAGS breakfast is history. There were 19 brave souls that rode their motorcycles. Hey, that was all of them.......Go figure.

For the most part, all RAGS were well behaved, with the exception of JD of course. He just loves those little waitresses.

There were no new members this morning, but "who cares". We still don't have the clock anyway, although we do have an ongoing investigation to find it.

The food was good and the fellowship even better, saw lots of smiles and heard few complaints. It was determined that next week we will go to Rock for our breakfast. I don't know who was going to set it up, although it sounds like a GREAT job for a Jarhead. How about it Jerry?

Thanks again to Cub for taking pictures, I think that got started when some of the wives questioned if their guy was really at breakfast. Don't forget to participate in your favorite Veterans Day activity, you all earned it.

RAGS Report - Oct 26, 2009

Just another RAGS breakfast, well not quite. Yes, we did have about 16 members show up and yes their were a few brave, frozen souls that rode. The food was great as I heard no complaints, but.......their was no CUB to take pictures, and besides that, it was overheard that JD and Jarhead were sharing queen sized bunk beds???? Or something of that nature. What's that all about? Maybe we don't want to know.

Their were no new members this week, which is probably a good thing because someone is still sleeping with our beloved clock, we just don't remember who. Hope we don't have to get it sanitized when he returns it.

If their was any discussion about where to go for breakfast next week, I didn't hear it.......so I guess that let's me choose a place. Hmmmmm, I think the "new" Red Brick cafe in Augusta would fill the bill. If that changes I will let ya all know.

Don't forget the folks at Post 256 can use some help with the sorting and packaging of items collected for our troops.
Now where is that darned clock?

RAGS Report - Oct 19, 2009

Well guy's, here is the deal. Yes indeed we did have a RAGS breakfast Monday and as you can see, Cub did a fine job of taking pictures. As a result of Grey Eagle changing his shift, I have been blessed with the job of creating the RAGS report, thanks to CUB. Not being a compute whiz, it is taking me sometime to import all the email addresses for all our members. Once done you should get your RAGS report in a timely manor.

Last Monday's breakfast was at Mike’s Steak house, with 19 very hungry members in attendance. Most were pleased with the food as I didn't hear any complaints, and saw lot's of smiles. JD of course was trying to impress the waitress, (how did that go for ya JD), their were several riders and a bunch of us that chose to ride the cages, (I think they called us wimps).

We had two new members in attendance, Lonnie Moore (hoss), and Kevin Overman. Although we didn't have the clock to pass along it's great to have these new members. By the way, Who has that clock?

Next Mondays ride will be at Nancy's, in Maize. Duck is to set it up. Thanks Duck!

As the weather cools and the rain and snow starts, you all might be thinking of places we can go on Mondays that are a little closer, to the area. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

It just does not seem like a RAGS breakfast with you "Grey Eagle", aren't you about ready to call it quits and hang up your stamps for a good purpose, like the RAGS?

That's about it for this time, sorry for the delay, but “WHO CARES"

Next Rags Breakfast - Oct 5, 2009

Solo's Diner, 6815 W. Kellogg, Wichita (in the Best Western Airport Inn and Conference Center).

Rags Report - Sept 28, 2009

Report by Jarhead, photos by Cub. Fine job by both. Next week's breakfast will be at Solo's Diner, 6815 W. Kellogg, Wichita (in the Best Western Airport Inn and Conference Center). Their flyer says "Home of Chicken & Waffles" --- your doctor will like that. I've already called and set it up. Remember, next Monday is the first Monday in October. Not sure the significance of that but most of us won't remember it anyway. I hear Jarhead wants a GPS from Santa.

Grey Eagle

Rags breakfast was held this morning at Brent's diner located near Lincoln and Oliver.

There were between 18 and 40 riders per JD. After taking another count it came out closer to 20. Some rode and some didn't. Some were lost and the others were following the lost. Sometimes that just doesn't work out. After a big U-turn the path finder found his path way. It hasn't been a year since we were there. Anyway I drove and when I approached the location nothing appeared to be the same as the last time we were there. I drove north and noticed I was looking on Harry instead of Lincoln. That's my story and I am sticking to it.

Not much to tell only coffee was 1.50 a cup. Much more expensive than Gas but so is water.

Just a note about Dennis Joint, (Casper) and his long hair. Dennis has been growing his long hair for over a year now and says he has a year to go. He is donating his hair for cancer patients. What a good thing to do. So if you want to save money on haircuts for 2 years you need to talk to Dennis.

Next weeks Breakfast will be at????? I guess we didn't discuss where. A side note Dennis's son was a guest at breakfast.
